Our 39th annual spring recital will be Saturday May 16th at Douglas County High School. 2842 Front St, Castle Rock, CO 80104.

Classes have been divided into 2 shows. The following classes are scheduled to perform at:

2:00 SHOW- Monday 6:00, Monday 7:00, Tuesday 9:15, Tuesday 5:00, Monday 5:00, Tuesday 10:00, Wednesday 6:00, Wednesday 4:00, Tues/Thurs 6-8

4:00 SHOW- Tuesday 4:15, Thursday 4:00, Thursday 5:00, Wednesday 5:00, Saturday 10:00, Tues/Thurs 6-8, Saturday 9:15

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your show. Dancers should be dropped off in the changing area. Signs will show class day and time. No food, drinks or water bottles will be allowed backstage. Both shows will last about 1 hour. ALL dancers MUST remain for their entire show. Parents should return to the changing area after the finale. Tickets for the show can be purchased now at Dance Academy or at the high school the day of the show Adult tickets are $10.00. Children under 16 are free Cash, check or zelle will be accepted. Tickets are good for both shows (if you have dancers in different shows.) Costumes are provided through the costume fees paid in March. Costumes will be at the school the day of the show. Please do not take these home. They are used for both shows. Remember to wear proper dance attire, light pink tights and plain black short sleeve or tank leotard with no designs or attached skirts. All shoes should be brought in a dance bag, Shoes should be labeled with dancers name and class day and time. No gum, jewelry, or hair bows will be allowed on stage. Hair should be in a bun if possible. Dancer medals and “Ballerina“ necklaces are available this year. Each are $5.00. You can decide when and where to give them to your great dancer. Please consider being a backstage helper for our show, Classes will need help changing costumes and lining up for their dances. You will be able to watch the dances on the side of the stage. Each helper gets 2 FREE tickets. Lots of fun backstage.

The week after our show May 18th-22nd will be our annual BEACH PARTY. During usual class times at Dance Academy, Wear a swim suit, flip flops, shorts, hula skirt, or whatever you want. We will dance, play beach games, choreograph, and have otter pops to celebrate a great show.

Dance Academy will be closed May 25th-30th.
